About This Disclaimer

This Disclaimer governs your use of www.sbtexmedia.com, the website of SBTEXMEDIA — the freelance document design and digital solutions practice founded and operated by Bayazid Kajol, Founder of SBTEXMEDIA. It explains the basis on which information is published here, the limits of what that information can be relied upon for, and where responsibility sits between us.

By accessing or using this website you accept this Disclaimer. If you do not accept it, please stop using the site. It should be read together with the Terms & Conditions, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and, if you commission work, the Refund Policy.

Nothing in this Disclaimer is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited in your jurisdiction. Where a provision below is found to be unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply.

Plain-English summary. This website describes design and document services and shares practical guidance. That guidance is general information, not professional advice for your particular situation. I take care to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee it is complete or current. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and I do not control what appears on them. The content here belongs to SBTEXMEDIA unless stated otherwise.
Section One

General Disclaimer

The content published on sbtexmedia.com is provided for general information purposes only. It describes the services offered by SBTEXMEDIA, sets out how those services are typically delivered, and shares practical guidance drawn from experience with document design, forms, spreadsheets and visual design work.

This website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While considerable care goes into what is published here, no warranty is given that the site or its content will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or fit for any particular purpose you may have in mind.

What this website is
  • A description of services — an explanation of what SBTEXMEDIA does, how projects are typically scoped, and what is included as standard.
  • General practical guidance — articles and service page content covering common problems with documents, forms and design files.
  • A point of contact — a means of requesting a quote or asking a question about a potential project.
What this website is not
  • Not a contract — nothing on this site constitutes an offer capable of acceptance. Work is undertaken only under a separately agreed written scope and quotation.
  • Not a guarantee of outcome — descriptions of typical results, turnaround times or benefits are indicative and depend on the specifics of each project.
  • Not professional advice — see the sections below on legal, financial and other regulated advice.
Indicative statements

Statements about turnaround times, page counts, project durations, file sizes, completion rates or similar figures are given as reasonable indications based on past work. They are not commitments. Actual outcomes depend on the condition of source material, the complexity of the requirements, the responsiveness of everyone involved and factors outside my control. Binding timescales are agreed in the written scope for your specific project, not taken from this website.

Section Two

Professional Information

SBTEXMEDIA is an independent freelance practice operated by Bayazid Kajol from Bangladesh, serving clients internationally. The services offered are design and document production services: PDF editing, fillable PDF forms, online form design, Microsoft Word formatting, Excel templates, graphic design, logo design and related work.

Scope of expertise

Expertise is claimed in the preparation, structure, formatting and visual design of documents and digital assets. It is not claimed in the substance of what those documents say. Formatting a contract does not make me qualified to advise on its terms. Building a spreadsheet that calculates a figure does not mean I have verified the methodology behind that calculation. Designing a compliance form does not mean I have assessed whether it satisfies your regulator.

Where regulated advice is required

Certain matters must be handled by a qualified, and often licensed, professional in your jurisdiction. Where a project touches one of these areas, you remain responsible for obtaining that advice independently. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Legal matters — contract terms, trademark clearance, disclosure obligations, dispute resolution and enforceability.
  • Financial and tax matters — accounting treatment, tax positions, investment decisions and financial projections.
  • Regulatory compliance — sector-specific rules covering data protection, health information, financial promotions, food labelling, accessibility standards and similar obligations.
  • Medical, clinical and safety matters — the substance of any health, clinical or safety content within a document.
Accessibility work

Where documents are prepared with accessibility features such as tagged structure, meaningful field labels, logical reading order and colour contrast, this is done to a professional standard and in good faith. It is not a certification of conformance with any particular legal standard, and it does not constitute a formal accessibility audit. If your organisation must demonstrate compliance with a specific standard, an independent accessibility assessment should be obtained.

Section Four

No Financial Advice

Nothing on this website constitutes financial, investment, accounting or tax advice. SBTEXMEDIA is not a regulated financial adviser, accountant or tax practitioner in any jurisdiction, and no such advice is offered, implied or intended.

Spreadsheets, calculators and financial documents

Excel template design frequently involves budgets, invoices, quoting calculators, pricing models, cash-flow trackers and similar tools. The distinction that matters is this: I build the mechanism, you own the assumptions.

  • What is provided — correct formula construction, data validation, protected calculation layers, structured tables and reporting that behaves reliably under everyday use.
  • What is not provided — verification that your rates, margins, tax treatment, depreciation method, currency handling or forecasting assumptions are correct, appropriate or compliant.
  • Formula testing — calculations are verified against manual arithmetic and tested with awkward inputs. That confirms the sheet computes what it was asked to compute; it does not confirm that what it was asked to compute is the right thing.
  • Your review — before relying on any financial workbook for a real decision, have it reviewed by your accountant or financial adviser.
Business outcomes and revenue

Service pages on this site discuss commercial benefits such as improved completion rates, fewer abandoned forms, better opt-in performance or time saved on manual data entry. These describe the mechanisms by which better-built documents tend to help, drawn from experience. They are not forecasts, guarantees or representations that your business will achieve any particular result. No claim is made about revenue, conversion rates, rankings or sales you will obtain.

Pricing information

Any indicative pricing shown on this website is provided as general guidance and is subject to change without notice. The only binding figure is the fixed written quotation issued for your specific project after the requirements have been reviewed.

Section Five

Accuracy of Information

Reasonable care is taken to ensure that information published on this website is accurate at the time of writing. No warranty is given that it is, or will remain, complete, correct or current.

Why content goes out of date
  • Software changes. Menu locations, feature availability and file format behaviour in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and other tools change with updates.
  • Platform requirements change. Marketplace image rules, e-reader specifications, print-on-demand trim requirements and social media dimensions are revised by those platforms without notice to me.
  • Third-party services change. Form builders, analytics providers and integration services alter their features, limits and pricing independently.
  • Legal and regulatory requirements evolve. Accessibility standards, data protection rules and sector-specific obligations are amended over time.
Verify before relying

Where this website references a third-party platform's requirements — for example marketplace image specifications or self-publishing trim sizes — you should confirm the current position with that platform directly before acting. Where a specific figure matters to a decision you are making, verify it independently rather than relying on a page that may have been written some time ago.

If you find something on this website that is inaccurate or out of date, please tell me using the contact details below. Corrections are welcome and are made promptly.

Section Seven

Third-Party Websites & Services

Beyond simple links, this website and the services delivered through it depend on tools and platforms operated by other companies. Those services are governed by their own terms, and their behaviour, availability and pricing are outside my control.

Services used on this website
  • Analytics and tag management — Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, described in detail in the Cookie Policy.
  • Web fonts — typefaces delivered from Google's font service.
  • Form processing — a third-party service that receives contact and quote requests and forwards them by email.
  • Hosting and content delivery — infrastructure providers that store and serve the pages you are reading.
Platforms used in delivering client work

Projects frequently involve building inside platforms belonging to third parties — Google Forms and Google Sheets, Microsoft Forms, Excel, SharePoint and Power Automate, Jotform, payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal and Square, e-reader and print-on-demand platforms, and e-commerce marketplaces. Where SBTEXMEDIA builds a solution within one of these platforms:

  • The build is delivered to a professional standard and tested before handover.
  • The platform's own uptime, feature set, pricing, policies and future changes remain entirely outside my control.
  • Subscription or transaction fees payable to that platform are your responsibility and are separate from my fee.
  • If a provider deprecates a feature or changes behaviour after delivery, remedial work is quoted separately as new work.

No responsibility is accepted for interruption, data loss, account suspension, policy change or any other act or omission of a third-party platform.

Section Nine

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SBTEXMEDIA and Bayazid Kajol accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or from reliance on any information published on it.

This includes, without limitation
  • Loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity or anticipated savings.
  • Loss or corruption of data, files or records.
  • Indirect, consequential, incidental, special or punitive loss of any kind.
  • Loss arising from interruption, unavailability, error or delay affecting this website.
  • Loss arising from the acts, omissions, policies or availability of any third-party platform or provider.
  • Loss arising from your decision to act, or not act, on general information published here without taking appropriate professional advice.
Liability for commissioned work

Where you engage SBTEXMEDIA for a project, liability in connection with that project is governed by the written scope agreed between us and by the Terms & Conditions, rather than by this website Disclaimer. In the absence of any other agreed term, liability in respect of a project is limited to the fee actually paid for that project.

What is not excluded

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the law applying to you. Consumers may have statutory rights that are unaffected by anything stated here.

This limitation is a genuine allocation of risk between two commercial parties. It reflects the reality that a design and document practice cannot underwrite the commercial consequences of decisions taken by a client, or of platform behaviour it does not control.

Section Ten

User Responsibility

Using this website, and commissioning work through it, carries responsibilities on your side as well as mine. Setting these out plainly avoids misunderstandings later.

When using this website
  • Use the site lawfully and not in a way that damages it, disrupts it or interferes with anyone else's use of it.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system.
  • Do not submit unlawful, defamatory, abusive or deliberately misleading content through the contact form.
  • Do not use the contact form for unsolicited commercial messages or automated submissions.
When commissioning work
  • Accuracy of what you supply. Text, figures, prices, contact details, claims and data you provide are reproduced as given. Proofreading of substance is your responsibility unless expressly agreed in the scope.
  • Rights in your material. You confirm you own or are licensed to use the logos, images, text and data you supply.
  • Regulatory requirements. Where your document must satisfy a regulator, an institutional style guide, an accessibility standard or a marketplace rule, tell me at the briefing stage. I will build to a stated requirement, but I cannot verify obligations you have not disclosed.
  • Final review before publication. Check delivered files carefully before printing, publishing, distributing or signing them. Approval before a print run or public release rests with you.
  • Your own backups. Keep copies of delivered files. Working files are not retained indefinitely, and files are removed from working storage on request once a project closes.
Testing before mass distribution. With interactive files in particular — fillable forms, calculators, online forms — run a small real-world test before rolling something out widely. Every deliverable is tested before handover, but only you can confirm it fits the way your team and customers actually work.
Section Eleven

Website Availability

Every reasonable effort is made to keep this website available and functioning correctly. No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free access is given, and access may be suspended, withdrawn or restricted at any time without notice.

Reasons the site may be unavailable
  • Scheduled maintenance, updates or content changes.
  • Hosting, network, DNS or content delivery failures outside my control.
  • Failure or degradation of a third-party service the site depends on.
  • Security incidents, or protective measures taken in response to them.
  • Events beyond reasonable control, including power and connectivity disruption.
Changes to the site and to this Disclaimer

Content, services, pricing indications and page structure may be changed, added to or removed at any time without notice. This Disclaimer may likewise be revised; the version published here is the one in force, and the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Disclaimer.

Availability of this website is separate from delivery of commissioned work. If the site is temporarily unavailable, agreed project deadlines are unaffected and you can always reach me directly by email or WhatsApp.
